The next Yoga for Anxiety Group Series is starting soon! The 6-week series starts on Thursday April 7, 2016 and will be held from 6:30-7:45pm.
Over the six sessions, participants will benefit from asana, breathing, mantra, meditation, and yoga philosophy geared to harness and lower anxious energy from high stress, ongoing anxiety, life changes, and panic. The practices are accessible to a wide variety of practitioners, so you do not need an established yoga practice to join this group. In fact, starting this series can help you to get into a yoga practice with more knowledge about yoga basics and how to tailor a practice to your needs. Past participants have benefitted from:
- Taking the tools of the series with them
- Having a weekly space in which to take a break and practice
- Support and connection with others who are also dealing with anxiety
- A small class environment
